"lovely, authentic place located in beautiful nature surroundings on the top of the hill (mind there are a lot of steps to get up there, although worth it). Walkable distance (1 km ) from the Vanilla beach , were all main amenities such as ATM, shops and restaurants are available. Overall great place and definitely would recommend it."

"DO NOT BOOK! - this place does not exist anymore (we were talking to many people in town - no one new this place). Hotels.com does not support you with any refund, they don‘t care that they have properties on their website which doesn‘t exist. I book around 150-180 rooms per year and I can only suggest you to not book this property since your money will be gone."

"The room was ok, fair for the price. Adequate sized beds, decent shower and toilet, and coffee/tea making facilities. Inn is very close to the boat port so it's a short walk when starting the island hopping tour. Our only gripe is the one time that the tap water smelled of rust (changed to yellow). "In short because im typing on a phone,,,, the bungallow had a sewage pipe putting out stink under our cabin,,,,unacceptable. They were full so we were moved to a nearby resort and that was fine..... so basically i thank them for taking care of the situation professinally, but dont know why they rented the cabin in the first place when the kitchens waste is being dumped beside this cabin. All that aside the place is lovely and quiet and im sure you will enjoy it."

"Karuna has breathtaking views, simply beautiful. Dining in their restaurant is an experience itself, the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, a wonderful reminder of how proud I am to be of Filipino heritage. The service is very professional and prompt. The pathways have an inline since it’s located in the mountain so if you are unable to physically walk up and down it may not be suitable but if you have no physical limitations then look no further, this place will be amazing!"

"From the supervisors, waiters ans waitresses and housekeeping people, everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The room that we got is an ocean view with balcony, which has the best views you can ever have. The location of the hotel is in Vin Beach, which has its own beachfront access, which is very clean and has security for the hotel. Thank you to Norvin and Mitch for all their assistance!
