I have spent many years idly philosophizing and it has taken me everywhere along a road to nowhere. Don't get me wrong. I like nowhere. It is the only place where I can begin to see who we are. It is a picture which is only beginning to form in my mind. Yes, I realize that the picture will never truly emerge but it is the shadows that define us which I am interested in. From nowhere, I can see those quite clearly.

"It is a fun little spot to enjoy the beautiful views of Okeover Arm and convenient to get to Lund to explore Desolation Sound. We had some rousing games of bocce on the lawn in front of the cottages. Others played badminton and cornhole. The A-frame was snug for 3 adult women but we all slept really well, albeit one on the couch. The loft was accessible with a ladder and was nice with the cross-breeze at night. "we had a great week on Savary at the cabin. it is clearly very new and everything was clean and beautiful and extremely comfortable and easy. The location was fantastic - easy walk to plenty of beaches and the store. Wished we could have stayed longer."

"Savary is amazing, but we were sadened and disapointed after having rented this cabin. There were many problems that we had not been made aware of before arriving. The roof leaks in several spots in the entryway. We arrived to a bucket of water catching some of the drips and most landing on the floor in a large puddle. There is a serious mouse problem, with hallway corners and the lower kitchen cabinets showing ample mouse droppings. We also had to wash fresh mouse poop out of the pans in the...

"Amy (host) & Des were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was just what we needed, right beside ferry and the view was incredible. We had a wonderful stay at High Point Resort on Quadra Island! Amy was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home with her warm and friendly demeanor. Her sister, Des, was just as welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The hospitality truly enhanced our visit, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!"

"Ocean front. Great place to walk and relax by the ocean. Close to Quadra Island Ferry Terminal. The building is quite old. Carpet needed deep cleaning. Understand having no airconditioning however would be great if rooms have one. Staffs are excellent and helpfull. Breakfast is okay. "
