Our visit was like being spoiled from the moment we arrived! The staff and even the owner were there to make sure we had everything we needed! Though our visit was in the off season, the only thing we didn't get to use was the pool as it was just too cold. The breakfast, though, was the best we have ever had while traveling! Highly recommend!!!

This was the first hotel we visited in our two week Tuscany vacation. Coming out of Rome and getting on the highway north, it looked like the exit should be labeled for Cortona...but it wasn't and we wasted a lot of time getting lost (our fault). Once we found the hotel, it was a gem in the hills in the vineyards. Breakfast on the patio of the little glass Liminoere building was fabulous. Loved their boxer dog roamed around saying "hi". Owner/chef is on premises and she gives cooking lessons....

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel staff were fabulous. The rooms were nice and larger than most European hotel rooms. The bathroom was roomy as well but the shower stall was rather small and cramped.

This is a wonderful B & B that is really top notch. The rooms are very comfortable with every amenity. A very quality establishment. The breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful restaurant. Your host is very gracious a and will attend to your every need. This is also a great location to explore Tuscany. Close to Cortona and Sienna and Arezzo.

Wonderful property and fantastic host! Highly recommend. Be sure to book the room with the private hot tub!

Amazing hotel, with an amazing history and delicious breakfast.

We were in Italy for two weeks and this was our favorite hotel/B&B. FIVE STARS. Everyone & everything were wonderful.

Absolutely Stunning! The grounds and rooms are first class! The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects during the stay. Peaceful and serene is an understatement. Food and breakfast at the resort is top notch. Other dining options near the resort are amazing. Al Baciamano and Seven Cafe are great stops. Close enough to Tuscany day trips. Will definitely stay again and share with friends looking for a relaxing first class stay and amenities.

We only stayed one night, wished we could have stayed longer, beautiful restored building overlooking a valley and great restaurant… Orlando, the owner was hands on all the time, food was superb…. Great location, it’s my second time to Citta della Pieve

Beautiful property, rooms were spacious and well appointed. Staff were wonderful and helpful, Paolo welcomed us and provided many helpful recommendations on restaurants and sites nearby. Breakfast was delicious, pasteries and bread freshly baked and staff very welcoming. Loved our stay.

Nicolas and all other staff members were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome the moment we set foot on the property. The whole time we were able to talk to them via Whatsapp and they always kept us informed!

We were the only guests for 2 nights out of 3, at this lovely B&B on the estate of one of the best wineries in Tuscany. We had sumptuous room with a living room, bedroom and bathroom (nice shower!) all to ourselves. The staff were local women, who made a wonderful breakfast every day and told us of the life in Tuscany. The place was spotless, the food great, and it was so relaxing to come " home" to the vineyards every night, after seeing hordes of people in the towns we explored. One could...

Stunning location! I wish we had been able to stay another night and spend a day by the beautiful pool. The drive to Arezzo was short, which allowed for exploring and dinner in the old part of the city!

Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.) An excellent location for enjoying a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by true nature and spectacular views. Francesco was a magnificent host. I would certainly stay at this Agriturismo again when I return to Tuscany.
