"I wasn't expecting much from this hotel and I never leave reviews, but this hotel, was clean, organized, the room had a great floorplan to give me, my adult sister and Mom plenty of space. Everything worked, the breakfast was great as well!"

"Was a nice stay at this hotel. Staff was excellent, friendly & helpful. Parking lot and grounds clean and well lighted. Only one small thing was we stayed for three days and no one ever checked on the room so our trash got full, and the parking lot trash was full as well ha ha. Everything was quite good however."

"The property itself is not the most eye-catching from the outside, however, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and adequately appointed, very quiet, and within short walking distance of the Royal Gorge Train depot and downtown Canon City. Coffee and a nice continental breakfast are offered as well. You can tell there is pride in ownership on this property -- it reflects in the care that has been taken in the Motel's cleanliness and attention to travelers' comfort!"

"Clean spacious rooms, but if you book the triple room with a balcony, you should know that the balcony off the end of your room is a public use smoking area and expect to have plenty of people on the balcony smoking weed at any given time day and night so opening your windows is not an option "
