We actually had breakfast at the Country Lounge on the other side of the river. If you take into consideration that the place was built in the 1730's, it was actually a very nice place. We didn't try the restaurant, but I understand it is highly regarded. "

My additional request was accommodated. I ate with a friend in both the restaurant and bar in an evening both the food and service were really good."
