"The hotel is brilliant and beautiful. The only drawback is that for such a nice hotel the restaurant is mediocre at best. Not worth the price they charge and the offerings are just as common an a below average pub menu. Even the burgers were ‘meh’ according to my teens. My Caesar salad was even less tasteful. Restaurant aside, the grounds and facilities were fantastic! "

"The nicest home from home I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely decor, very clean and comfortable. The games cupboard was a hit with my son; I wasn’t expecting to find games to keep my 4 year old occupied but I did and he didn’t have to watch tv once! 😊"

"The hotel is OK but looking very tired. I opted for the Executive room which didn't match the description on Hotels.com. When checking with reception I was advised that the room I was in was correct, which it definitely wasn't. As it was late in the day I didn't have the energy to debate. In the morning I discovered my shower didn't work as the heat adjustment knob was broken so after wasting 15 minutes I had to run a bath. When mentioning to the lady on reception she wasn't bothered and just asked if I was checking out today??? Overall it was OK, not great though and I won't be returning."

"House was warm, clean and comfortable, Kitchen was reasonably equipped, lovely cake provided. Location was good, close to Alcester, lots of local walks although we didn’t walk across the fields as too wet. There were 10 of us and plenty of room but might be a bit of a squeeze around the table with too many more. No instructions about recycling."

"The place was very beautiful, it was so cosy, the bed was really comfortable. Me and my wife loved the Christmas decorations and the hosts were just incredible, such great people which tried to make us feel really good during all the stay "
