"Convenient and fun kid pool/slide and hot tub for the parents. Breakfast hours were a little early but decent meal for the road. Helpful and friendly staff. Great to have some EV chargers. Not a great gym but good to get some basic exercises in while on holidays.

"The bathroom shower was easily accessible and all the soaps, tissue, and toilet paper were provided in an eco conscious manner. The hospitality shelf was similarly stocked with cups that were compostable."

"I was so impressed with the extra accommodations I received at Coast Discovery! I stayed there one night on two separate occasions before & after a wilderness trip in the area. I was worried about leaving my car rental & keys, but they assured me it would be safe, gave me a parking pass for the five days I was gone, and held my keys in a safety box until my return! They also had a wake up call since I arrived so late at night & was afraid I'd oversleep, and had a very impressive breakfast...

"It's a very affordable option for someone looking to get away with minimal planning. There wasn't a lot of locks on the door, which to me indicates that there are never really any issues for theft there.
Bed was comfy, and the air conditioner was really effective at cooling the room down. Conviently right next to a gas station and a liquor store (if you're into that).
Good place to flop out and relax after a day of exploring campbell river. "
"The recently renovated rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Great view over the water. Location was conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. The front desk staff person Laura was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated having breakfast included, but the breakfast options were limited and identical each day. We enjoyed the pool but were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order."
"Just a beautiful place, surprisingly with everything we needed in one small area. Great breakfast options and coffee at Nancy's bakery just steps away. A lovely pub with pleasant service, a beautiful view of the ocean, and a terrific menu. And another boardwalk restaurant with seafood options and more. Also, right behind the hotel is a beer and wine, and market with all basic needs covered.
To top off, all staff and locals friendly and courteous. "
