"Literally booked this the day before we arrived, found it easily enough, completely off the beaten track, lovely and quiet, really lovely little place, ample big enough for a family, plenty to do in the area. 20 mins or so from Caerphilly and Cardiff, plenty of places to eat or shop, just had a really nice time. Cut short by some issues at home but we'll definitely be back for longer next time. Thanks for accomodating us."

"The lodge is beautiful and wonderful surroundings The view is amazing. Very clean and cosy and home from home with everything you need. Hot tub went down well with all. Dafydd was very welcoming and was just at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Already booked for another weekend!"

"The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."

"I booked this property for my disabled son Jack and two of his carers. They said it was lovely (looked amazing in the photos that they sent me.) Jack really enjoyed himself so hopefully will be returning next year!"

We hebben elke dag gewandeld in de schitterende omgeving, waarbij we tussen de middag genoten van een heerlijke lunch in een van de vele pubs. We zijn deze week verliefd geworden op de UK en komen zeker terug. (Behalve als door een eventuele Brexit het weer moeilijk wordt om onze hond mee te nemen...)"

"The site is spacious with great views. The lodge was clean and well maintained with good covid procedures. There are lots of good walks and rides possible from the site and easy access to Minehead. Ship at Porlock Weir is worth a visit."

"A very enjoyable few days. Did not walk far as Mum(94) was in a wheelchair, which necessitated driving anywhere. Lamps in bunkbed room need looking at and guttering need cleaning out. Lovely waterfalls with the heavy rain. Would certainly reccommend it as a base in the area."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage was cosy and done out beautifully. Warmed up quickly when we put the heating on, everything we needed was there, milk left in the fridge and essentials in the bathroom, clear instructions left too. But my most favourite, above all was the cats, we met Alfie first, very chilled boy and then Ollie who snuggled up with us on the sofa, Snowy the duck in the garden was gorgeous too.
