"We loved the location of this house! We were just 4 minutes from the Royals stadium and 5 minutes from a great Hy-vee. The double living rooms made a great space for our family to hang out and reconnect. Unfortunately, there was a storm the first night we were there. The basement floor ended up becoming completely soaked. So we weren't able to access that area or the bunk beds. The host communicated with us quickly and effectively throughout that time and made sure we could still enjoy our stay. We'd stay again to be closed to the stadiums!"

"Even though I had prepaid via expedia , I was charged an additional $10 in cash as a penalty for using expedia. Expedia said it was an error on their part for not listing that as part of the amount? They should have refunded. Room was nice but short on pillows, blankets and toilet paper."

"This place was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We had to change rooms due to uncleanness. Overly stained carpet, rips and tears in the furnishings, poor dusting, stained towels. We were given another room with less stains on the carpet but still stained. Stains on the furnishings, bed frame full of dust, dingy stained towels, thank God I had brought my own. The microwave was filthy and full of dust on the outside. I was told I'd get another one, that didn't come until the day before leaving the next morning. We were there 3 days. The replacement was in worse condition, rusted on the inside so of course I didn't use it either. I could say more but I'll stop here. Overall the stay was very unsatisfactory based on the advertisement. "

"You don't want this nightmare. The manager is the most unprofessional, rude, and mean. The rest of the staff is no better either unfortunately. You will be thrown out for asking about or for anything if the manger or staff doesn't like you. I overheard the staff talking about horrible about the guests while waiting for the elevator. Was told to leave for asking for corporate phone number and then was humiliated while the staff and manager stood by making rude comments towards me and my family. All while telling me to get my things out my room in 30 minutes as they stood and laughed. When I asked about a refund for the week I paid for, I was told too bad. I did what was asked and had all my things outside the room within the time frame I was gave just to then be told I could stay for the time I paid for just don't speak to any of the staff or else. This is no way to treat anyone. Especially after I just went through a house fire and is why I'm staying at your hotel while I seek another home for myself and my 8 yr old son. There was 1 person that treated guests the way they should be treated. He worked nights and was always polite and smiling. He was the only male front desk at night and the rest of the staff should take lessons on how customers service is done. Other than him, you will do everything thing possible to not cross paths with the staff. If you don't believe me, stay there for a week and ask for the corporate phone number and see what happens"

"Location was good and room was good. We got locked out of our room late at night and had to wait about 30 minutes for the night staff to make new room keys. There was no soap in the bathroom and the toilet seat was loose "
