Luxury Base Area Retreat with Sweeping Mountain Vista: Trails, Pool, Hot Tub

  • This beautiful unit features stunning mountain views from the living area as well as the bedroom, and is located at the resort within the Lodge at Mountaineer Square at the base of the mountain in Mt. CB Village. LMS is the newest and most luxurious building on the mountain. This spacious, slope-facing 4th floor elevator-accessed unit features incredible views of the slopes, the Butte, & an expansive vista of the glorious range.

    Its decor is simple and elegant, and it features in-unit laundry, a fully-equipped kitchen, a heated garage for one vehicle, and high-speed WiFi in the room. The Lodge amenities including ski and bike valet, a fitness center, a pool & hot tub, as well as a dry sauna.

    This unit is winter ski in/out and easy mountain bike access in the summer and fall. An independent coffee shop, ice cream shop and a cocktail bar are located in the building as is the lift ticket and pass office. Restaurants just steps away include the Crested Butte Burger Co. and the Ooxaca-inspired 'Jose Crested Butte.' Mountaineer square features numerous ski, bike and gear shops for rentals, repairs and purchases. CB's incredible Adaptive Sports Center is located in the building next door.

    Guests check-in is available at the front welcome desk or by lockbox after hours. Bellhops and luggage carts are available to assist with transport of personal belongings to the unit. Heated garage parking in the building (space for one vehicle) is $30/night.

The condo was clean and comfortable with a great location. Pool and hot tub were a great amenity. We enjoyed watching skiers on the slopes from our window. Free town shuttle stop was nearby and ski valet was super convenient.

Fantastic weekend stay!

Our family sincerely enjoyed our time at the property. We traveled to Crested Butte with two small children and this unit had plenty of space for the four of us. Spacious condo right by the lift.

This condo is located right by the ski lift. It is a spacious one bedroom with two large baths, large kitchen and nicely decorated. If you are staying there with friends, you do not have to share a bathroom. Although you rent from the owner, you are checked in a the main desk. So there is always someone to answer any questions.

Hiking with the wild flowers

From start to finish our stay was excellent! The condo was so clean and inviting. I loved the swivel chair so we could enjoy the view of the mountain and watch tv! The soaker tub was amazing!!! I so appreciated it after our challenging but beautiful hikes! It so nice to have TWO bathrooms. The shower pressure was also excellent. I definitely would stay here again!

Perfect holiday ski trip

This condo was perfect for families or couples interested in skiing. Located in Mountaineer Square, it was a two min walk from the condo to the Red Lady lift. The condo was very clean, had all the amenities (including a coffee maker, kettle, and espresso machine) as well as wash machine & dryer. Crested Butte & this condo did not disappoint. We hope to return in the future!

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. The owners clearly choose their unit with an eye toward their own enjoyment and we benefited from this. The unit’s location in the complex was top tear. The views of the mountain out the living room window alone were worth the price of admission. We activated the gas fireplace and snuggled up staring out the window at the mountain while snow gently drifted out of the sky, perfection. The place was well appointed and tastefully decorated. We would book again.

Crested Butte Beauty

My wife and I had a blast on our 1st visit to Crested Butte, in part because of the lovely accommodations. This particular unit was well furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was quite comfy. Our only (minor) struggle was that the air conditioning was not working in the building and so sleeping at night, even with the windows open, was not quite as cool as we like it. However, the location was excellent, with food, coffee and ice cream possibilities right outside our door. Plus downtown Crested Butte was a short, five minute drive away. We enjoyed hiking in the area and then eating and wandering around the shops downtown also. Looking forward to going back!

Great summertime vacation in Mt Crested Butte

This property was outstanding simply put. When we come back, we will absolutely check to see if this is available again. Maria and Peter's place was perfect for my wife and myself. The place was very clean, fresh and spacious for a one bedroom 2 bath. Lots of room. Kitchen had everything a person needs with a comfortable sized table. The living room had great furniture that was very comfortable, when we were there to use it...lol. The absolute best part inside the vrbo imo was the extremely comfortable king size bed with the selected sheets, pillows and comforter. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in my profession and this bed and all of the associated appointments by far are my favorite that I have slept on. Maria, I want my wife to get the exact same sheets, pillows, and comforter that you have so if you could send me that info, I would appreciate it. The master bathroom shower/tub combo were also a fantastic addition after a long day hiking and mountain biking. The greatest attraction to this vrbo is the location without question. You will literally be right at the base of the mountain with the ski lifts out the back door. It's a prime location to everything, even in the summertime in my opinion, minus downtown Crested Butte, so in the winter you will be in the heart of events and skiing at this vrbo. The amenities such as the gym, pool, hot tub, etc... were also great. I have no complaints and would select the same vrbo again. You'll be happy with this vrbo.

Ski slopes were an easy 2 min walk with storage for skis right at the slopes. The town bus was wonderful and easy…but make sure you pick the correct bus or you might end up in Gunnison instead of Created Butte. The property had all that we needed. Condo was well appointed. There was even a little tea and coffee for us to use until we could get to the store. We used the hot tub and the fitness center. All great but we had to ask at the front desk for directions in order to find them. It is a lovely condo and a very nice facility.

Our experience was perfect. The condo was spacious and clean, the hosts thought of everything. The condo has a direct view of Mt. Crested Butte from the living room and the bedroom, the parking garage is heated, it's a quick drive to downtown CB. We couldn't have asked for more!
