"Exo Mouliana is a little village away from the usual tourist route but lays on the main road so it’s easy to get to places. Other villages we visited would have a winding narrow road you have to navigate for half an hour just to get to the main road. This place is very conveniently located however the house itself is high on the hill so you don’t hear the road or the noise from the centre of the village. Driving in Crete can be difficult but once we arrived we couldn't have been happier. the views from the rooftop terrace can't be beat. The beach and clear beautiful water led to hours of relaxation. "A lovely, small Cretan House with big personality. The patio area is where we all lived for two glorious weeks. The house is on a dirt track which makes the privacy fairly complete. The air conditioning makes sleeping a lot easier. Some of the the local feral cats make their prescence felt and, if you feed a cat once it will demand feeding again. "The place is located in a beautiful hilltop with a great view. Inside it is equipped with a decent kitchen. The host is lovely. However it has no internet so you have to rely on a local phone network which is not great because you are in the mountains. Just something to know beforehand. I had to work and had to go to Kalyves when I had meetings. But other than that we enjoyed the great views and the small villages in the area."

"We arrived on Wednesday 6th of September. We collected the rental car and headed towards our destination. We had already been advised by the owner that we would be met at the start of the village by her representative Michalis. The owner had already given coordinates and Michalis contact number. When we arrived at the village we rang him and he duly met us. Michalis guided us up to the property and shown us around. The villa is absolutely gorgeous.
