"I arrived late in the evening due to a flight delay and on entry the hotel initially felt a little soulless, but the staff changed my mind instantly. Proper five star hospitality. I was immediately offered a glass of water and was automatically upgraded as a silver member. I felt welcome very quickly and this continued throughout my stay. Rooftop pool area is nice and quiet (no thumping music). Generally an understated and private place to stay and a great location for exploring Heraklion on foot. Would stay again."
