"Lovely home with spectacular views! The home greatly exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed for our 6 day. When not our touring the charming small Tuscany towns, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the back porch and pool area. We kept the windows open and enjoyed the sweet breezes blowing through. If you're looking the perfect home to rent in Tuscany, this is the one. "

"This is a perfect villa in a perfect location. The interior is excellently equipped and is very comfortable and spacious, and the multiple external relaxing/dining areas are ideal for enjoying the incredible views in every direction, whilst the large pool is perfect for cooling off from the summer sun. The whole villa was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Luigi provided very helpful information about the villa and surrounding area in advance of our arrival, and was regularly keeping in touch during our stay to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the most amazing two weeks in this fantastic villa, and we would not hesitate to return if we get the chance to do so again in future. Thank you, Luigi. "

"Fantastic property with stunning views - especially of the sunsets each evening. The kitchen has everything that is needed (and more). A really good sized pool, large beds and en-suites for every bedroom was such a bonus. The owner, Luigi, is so approachable, friendly and helpful suggesting places to visit and even organising a vet visit for our dog to have his medical check before our journey home. Montisi is a perfect Tuscan village beautiful but without the tourists and has a couple of bars, a couple of restaurants, a small shop for emergencies and someone who offers a watercolour painting session whatever your ability (would really recommend this with Elizabeth Cochrane)"

"The property is beautiful and in a wonderful setting. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and was a pleasure to cook in. It has been a really hot summer and even with air conditioning, we found it difficult to sleep in the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs rooms were fine and extra fans helped upstairs. There are plenty of large common areas for a group to gather both inside and out. Overall it was a sweet time for family to reconnect and explore Tuscany."

"We recently stayed at Villa Ampella la Torre and have nothing but great things to say. The communication with both the owners and the caretaker before, during and after our visit was exceptional - particularly their care, attention, and advice they gave on visiting local attractions and booking a private chef through the Tuscan Chef (highly recommended). The house is beautifully decorated, new, clean, spacious and well equipped, and the pool there is amazing. While we had a couple of issues with the AC and water supply, these were immediately addressed (despite us saying there was nothing urgent). Their caretaker is so lovely and went out of her way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The only reason we did not rate the location as excellent is due to the distance from other amenities (e.g., groceries, restaurants, etc.), but the property is beautiful and the views are stunning. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope we have the opportunity to return one day. Sincere thanks to our hosts and Jirina for making this an unforgettable vacation. Grazie mille!"

"Absolutely Amazing! Saturday night the bar in the village had a buffet and live music. The pool is amazing with stunning views. Near several historic towns and stunning drives. "

"Upon checkin was notified the hotel no longer operated a restaurant although their listing on Expedia said they had one and their own website lists a restaurant. No dining options for dinner and no breakfast available. No coffee or tea in room, not even a microwave. Listing also mentions a tasting room for wine-- none to be found. Place is very far from town so a car is a must-have. Place was deserted yet there was obviously a rambunctious family above my apartment, which had an overwhelming stench of RAID bug spray the entire time I stayed. Reception is inside an interior courtyard and does not open until 9am, I left the keys in the door as there was no drop box. Do not stay here. Property is allegedly in litigation limbo due to their wanting to renovate, but take my advice and stay literally ANYWHERE ELSE."
