"Very peaceful, lovely private garden patios with a stream running past and lots of bird song. Inside, the cottage is equally serene and well thought out, with lots of windows, plentiful hooks in the bathroom and a great walk in shower, as well as a clean and spacious kitchen and living room. And the location is perfect, with easy access to all the hiking trails and castles. We loved our stay in this cottage. Perfect!"

"The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. "

Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). "At first we were very disappointed that our anticipated stay at The Manor House was cancelled due to renovations being done just then. We were given a very nice room with a view over the course and Christchurch Village and every effort was made to make us happy. We had arrived by train and so on were on foot, but the concierge and the shuttle drivers were very kind, helping us to accomplish all that we had planned for our two days there. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious…there was everything we could imagine to choose from. Although it’s a very large hotel, we were so impressed by how all the staff make a guest feel welcomed and cared for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
