"We thoroughly enjoyed this dog-friendly cabin within the rustling pines. It really had everything we needed. The rear deck was comfortable and had a convenient place for our pups to go with easy cleanup. I especially appreciated the rolling umbrella that allowed you to choose shade or sun any time of day. We will be back."

"We booked one night and the following day to relax at the end of our trip, which Susan was extremely gracious in accommodating. The guest house is spotless and so cozy with so many thoughtful touches. We felt so at home. Susan was very responsive throughout the whole process and is such a kind and generous host! She spent time introducing us to their sweet donkeys. Between that and relaxing by the pool with beautiful surroundings it couldn’t have been a better end to our trip! If you are considering this stay- don’t hesitate!! We would love to return. "

"To say our stay at the lovely "Rustic Retreat" was everything we'd hoped it would be, is an extreme understatement!Everything was perfect....and so much better than the pictures portrayed . We spent most of our time outdoors...nestled among the ponderosa pines....soaking in the sun and the crisp mountain air. Inside was cozy and intimate....just right for we two. All the amenities were well thought out as well....and Sona was an amazing host.Cant wait to do it again....we will be back! "
