"First off, the listing doesn't say anything about a pet fee until after you book and pay. To complete booking, you have to go through another website, this is where you find out about the daily pet fee. When we arrived at the place, we opened the door and we were immediately hit with the stench of stale air and pet urine. Two of the three rooms had large urine stains on the carpets. We contacted the host immediately and asked him to have someone clean up the urine stains. He replied that they...

"Yes, the cabin needs a little TLC but if you walk around the property it looks like they are renovating the cabins one at a time. Yes, that road up there is rough I made it in a CRV. Not as off the grid as we hoped but still incredible! We recommend you take all your supplies and never leave until you have too! We hid the Wifi password for the kids. Second deck could use a few more chairs. Check for fire bans. But all in all we loved it and will be back!"

"Everything was great, and I but this is the first time I used a privately owned vacation rental and I didn't receive my email with information needed to get in. We were able to work it out and enjoyed our stay. Nice cabin in a peaceful place."

"It was me and my three daughters (ages 11-14). It was a lovely cabin with nothing wanting for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and even in the height of July we stayed cool enough with the windows open and a few fans (there were at least 3 provided at the property). My daughters LOVED the disc golf course and I loved the peaceful location. The refrigerator and freezer are on the smaller side, so if you have a family and plan to stay for more than 3-4 days, you will want to plan a trip...

"Beautiful views from the property. Quite a hike into town though as you have to go slow on mountain roads. Appreciated all the extra towels and bedding. Cleanliness of property was about a 5/10. Table and chairs were sticky. Visible dirt on the refrigerator handle. The grill was filthy and unusable bc it was covered in wire brush bristles. Used ant traps in the silverware drawer. Rips along the screen doors cause a moth problem in the house as well. Expected more especially during a pandemic....

"We loved the stay here. We went hiking and just enjoyed the amazing view. There is a frisbee golf course and horse shoes which we loved. My only complaint is the gas smell in the home, which we were assured was safe and in the process of being fixed."
