Top New River Hotel Reviews

Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Neat resort. Clean rooms. Excellent food!"

Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Links Resort

10/10 Excellent

"My wife and I, along with another couple, traveled to Arizona and stayed at the Hilton Vacation Club Scottdale Links resort; the staff were incredibly kind, and the apartment-style accommodations were fully equipped, making for a truly comfortable trip. I highly recommend this hotel—it’s the kind of place where you’d want to stay. Thank you."

LivAway Suites Phoenix-Surprise

8/10 Good

"The obvious "standout" feature in my mind was the difficult experience trying to check in... They installed a "Kiosk" self check-in "experience" that was (an experience). Arrived, was met with a Kiosk demanding a scan of driver's license, credit card, etc., then a demand that we "update" our contact info (since Expedia apparently encrypts the reservation info). Then Kiosk insisted that our contact information didn't "match" -- tried this function multiple times, Kiosk refused to accept our verified info. Finally contacted "customer assistance" through the Kiosk. They answered, then hung up on us. Tried like 4 times, same result. Seems our voices were not being transmitted to the customer service people. After about 20 minutes of this "process", an alert hotel staffer realized something had gone terribly awry and came out into the lobby to see what was going on. So the staff had to "manually" check us in; said the Kiosk "always" says that our contact info doesn't "match" (because there's nothing to match it to from Expedia). Why customer service couldn't hear us thru the Kiosk, no clue. Room was clean and well-appointed, but amenities were not well thought out. A microwave was present, but couldn't find any containers to use in the microwave. A stovetop is provided, but is "conduction" type (I don't usually carry special cookware in my luggage?), 2 dishes were in the dishwasher, that was all. So kind of a "de minimus" approach to amenities at best --"

Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Villa Mirage

8/10 Good

"Hilton Club Vacations Villa Mirage is a decent time share property--and that's the problem. They nickel and dimed us on several issues: "parking fees" (added only 2 months ago to) "resort fees". They stuck us in a corner unit next to the ice machine when better situated units were available. We weren't allowed to use our 98,000 Hilton Honors credit card points because..we booked through a different service. To be fair when the front desk saw our initial rating they asked what could be done to make things right, such as offering to switch our unit. We had already unpacked so we declined. Eventually they gave us a $25.00 dining credit ( whopee!!) which covered half the cost of breakfast. The one bedroom unit was adequate."
