"We were so happy at Trout Retreat for our long weekend away from home. The cabin was just the right amount of space for the 2 of us and our 2 little dogs. The cabin was very well appointed… we cooked all our meals and except for packing our 2 good knives and a meat free cutting board, we found everything we needed. We used the hot tub several times a day, enjoyed the ambience of the electric fireplace, found the smart tv too smart for us. We slept well listening to Elk Creek, and spent hours reading on the porch and walking along the river enjoying the changing colors.It was just the re-set we needed.The cabin is well used, obviously loved, just a touch funky and decorated in ‘cabin theme’ to the max. It was a really fun change of pace."
