"The smaller rooms are like those in NYC but if you just need to sleep,it's fine. The bathroom is cramped with a very uncomfortable shower that requires some contortion to get into, not for older people or those with joint problems. Location was excellent, across the street from the beautiful Hyde Park with plenty of transportation available. The air conditioner was marginal we had to open the window, not easy...something to check out before going in hot months...we were there in June,still cool...

"This hotel was in a most convenient area, close to Covent Garden and all means of transportation. The staff was friendly (although some told us wrong directions a couple of times) and the entire place very clean. The breakfast was the same each day, with runny scrambled eggs and no berries among the fresh fruit. However, the coffee and teas were delicious and a variety of fresh breads. " Not sure if they’ve recently remodeled but I don’t understand the negative reviews. The room itself was just standard. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view of the bridge was spectacular. The paid breakfast was great. I had some issues with the shower and the restaurant was just meh. But I would happily stay there again. You can’t beat the location. "
