"We loved the bar and restaurant area, the decor was nice and the whole area was clean. Food and drink was very good. Friendly staff. Slightly disappointed in the room, mostly clean but not in the best condition. Bed was on a slant so nearly rolled off in the night. Could do with either air con or access to a fan as room got very warm (did stay in the middle of a heat wave though) "

"Diabolical! At the reception, out of the blue, the man decided to insult me and belittle me, in front of my partner. Both, my partner and I were shocked by this. When I complained to his wife, she was helpful and got him to apologise. The apology, in a way, made things worse, because the man kept on saying that he wasn't being racist. "Booked a family room on the morning of the stay. It was an emergency booking on the day of oasis as the accommodation we booked cancelled our stay. We paid £100 and were allowed early check in for free. Free parking. The hotel looks a little tired on the outside but inside it’s fresh and modern. The bar has a good selection and cheaper than pub prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and beds were comfy. Perfect place without a massive price tag"
