"So this place is amazing and the room specs are awesome. The food is great in the restaurants (albeit the menu never changed the whole time we were there which was 8 nights and ws a little limited) The atmosphere is very chill, a little chic and so quite lovely and it is family friendly which is super nice. It is actually a lovely place to spend time in the day - especially by the main pool. But there are some limitations - they can not do room service (i know it sounds odd but they can't) We waited 1.5 hours for 3 bottles of wine and after that one of the bottles was wrong (we asked fo red and it was white). We had our child's 8th birthday there and we paid for a cake ( two days in advance) it arrived melted and unusable with no candles and when were given the candles there was no lighter (just poor). We ordered again (i know why did we) one night and the pizza wa wrong, the drinks were missing, the sides were omitted - it was just a disastaster and to be ones it let the whole experience down - we tried 3 times to enjoy the benefits of having a two bed suite with pool and we couldn't because the set up of staff is so thin that they cant do room service - which at 20K a week isn't good enough! its jy's not. Sorry guys on the team - but its rubbish and we wouldn't stay again until this is fixed."

"This property is a little oasis hidden away. While a bit tricky to get to as you have to drive on unpaved roads, it's worth it once you get there. The room had everything we needed, and the breakfast was wonderful and included local products. The location is quite rural, however, the closest town (Ourique) was only a 15 minute drive away. It's not a big town by any means, but there were a few restaurant options and a Pingo Doce and an Aldi for groceries. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star stay was the atmosphere during our stay due to other guests. There happened to be a large family who booked during the same time as us and they completely took over the pool area. As the location is in such a quiet area and there isn't a ton to do, we were looking forward to sitting by the beautiful pool and relaxing in the afternoon. That was tainted by children screaming and jumping into the pool, in addition to them bringing a speaker and playing loud music for hours. They were having a good time and the property is family friendly so perhaps our fault for not inquiring, but if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this may not be the place to book. While it wasn't the stay we were hoping for, the staff and accommodation itself was wonderful."

"We were a group of 12 people (3 families) with kids as young as 8. As we had rental cars this property was a fantastic base in the Algarve within max 30mins driving from most attractions. We visited right when there was a heatwave across Europe so having the swimming pool and air conditioned rooms made the stay very comfortable. As advertised there is enough beds for 10 but there were the addition of 2 single roll out beds which was perfect. All rooms including bedrooms are fully renovated to a high standard and the outside has an outdoor shower for after your swim in the pool (1.8m deep) would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the area for a quiet place to be based that is also close to some vineyards"

"Because we had problems with the car we were very late checking in. The owner who's birthday it was came to get us checked in and as l have recently had spinal surgery and walking was a difficulty he went out of his way to give us the most convenient room for me and my partner. FIRST CLASS SERVICE. Friendly welcoming staff superb 👌"

"We had an amazing stay, and the staff was great! They had a secure place for us to leave our bicycles, they let us check in early and there was an amazing restaurant. The rooms were wonderful with a small patio that overlooked a courtyard and the views from the roof were spectacular!"

"We have just returned from Casa Dos Ninos after a 4 day, 3 night hen do party with 20 people. We paid for the full b&b so we had it all to ourselves and I cannot fault this place one bit. Stacey & Luc the owners were perfect and so helpful. Stacey especially was great with communication on WhatsApp after making the booking. Taxis were easy to get to and from the b&b, was around 50 minutes from Faro airport and around 30 minutes to the new & old town. Every room was to a great standard, clean, tidy, all necessities available. Stacey offered to do our food shopping ready for our arrival so we sent her a list prior to arriving so that meant all our drinks were ready cooled in the fridge’s for us. We hired a DJ on the first day which Stacey helped me with recommendations and they also didn’t mind the noise from us all singing / dancing. The continental breakfast provided was great and had everything you could’ve wanted. Would highly recommend if you’re coming for a hen do or a large group of people. Sad to be home!!"

"From the moment you arrive, the beauty of the hotel is striking. Walking in feels like stepping into a peaceful sanctuary. Everything about the design, setting and atmosphere immediately creates a sense of serenity. The staff are wonderful and beautifully attired. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with its own private pool, and it was simply stunning. The layout and design were exceptional. Both bedrooms were beautifully done, and the bathrooms deserve a special mention; there are two, each with enormous standalone baths and huge enclosed showers. The space, design and attention to detail made the apartment feel incredibly luxurious. We visited Café Central for breakfast and lunch because we liked the peaceful vibe and found the fresh pastries, coffee, and variety of dishes to be wonderful. Sitting there quietly with a coffee was a lovely way to spend an hour of the day, and the gentleman Pedro, who works there, is absolutely charming. Overall, it has felt like a real privilege to stay at the Viceroy. It is a truly special place that combines beautiful design, outstanding service and complete tranquillity. The only problem is that you have to check out, and honestly, you won’t want to. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this stay so memorable. "
