"1000% one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at! Everything felt seamless, from check-in to the awesome food and drinks they have, social events, and the colourful community spaces they had available there. This Viajero location is making me want to try the other ones and explore more of South America!"

"Super hostel mit einem super leckeren frühstück. Personal freundlich, heisses wasser und bequemes bett mit 24h personal. Einzige was weniger gut war ist das es dort erst gegen 22uhr ruhig wird da dort am abend in der bar/restaurant musik läuft etc. "

"This place honestly looks like it should be condemned. It was disgusting. The walls are peeling, there were 4 different types of flooring in each room, and the bedding and towels were stiff. I checked for bed bugs because the place looked so bad. I’m happy to report there were none. With each step we took, we were afraid our feet would break through the floor, it was incredibly squeaky and uneven. The outlets were inconveniently located.
We rented a total of 4 rooms and each was just as bad as...

"Our stay in Sonesta Hotel Cusco was excellent. From the staff to the quality of service, we always felt very taken cared of throughout our stay there. Rooms were clean and comfortable and their included breakfast had lots of variety and was delicious. The location from Plaza de Armas was reasonable. About a 20 minute walk from the hotel. We enjoyed that it was a bit quieter once you were further from the main attraction of the city. Overall, we were very happy with our time at Sonesta and would definitely stay there again."
"Staff super friendly.
Breakfast very high quality, healthy and tasty.
Showers need running for a few minutes before they get hot but great once it gets going.
The location is superb, with the market nearby and many food places.
If you need to miss breakfast due to a tour, they will prepare you a bag with a sandwich and fruit.
24 hours reception.
Some things could do with refreshing, for example the bathroom tap needs its tap head replaced.
Housekeeping could be earlier - they didn’t manage to clean in the 3 days we were there but could be unlucky timing.
All in all, very highly recommended!"
"Very nice property and one of the best breakfast buffets on my trip! It's in a very convenient location too. I had a very simple room but it was clean and the bed was very comfy."
"This was an exceptional hotel. Absolute beautiful and well equipped with great amenities, great staff and in a perfect location. Don’t hesitate. The online images might be deceiving, we found it looked better in person and we will definitely be staying at this chain should our travels cross paths. Well done!"
"This has become my new favorite hotel in Cusco. It’s a small boutique property, which gives it a much more intimate and personal feel than some of the larger hotels in the city.
Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff are genuinely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The food is excellent, the rooms are bright and inviting, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Everything is also spotlessly clean, well thought out and very well maintained.
One thing worth noting is that there is no elevator, so that may be a consideration for anyone with mobility restrictions. That said, the staff are always there to carry luggage up and down the stairs, which makes a huge difference.
Overall, it’s simply a really pleasant hotel—welcoming and comfortable. After staying at several hotels in Cusco, this is the one I would choose to return to."
