Spilman Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is well maintained and presented. It feels recently refurbed. The room was good and the bed was super comfy! We had a rear facing room and it was very peaceful. The staff were bright and cheerful from the moment they met us to the moment we departed - that’s all staff, by the way, that we met. The entrance to the car park is tight but fine if you go slow and reverse a little to square up for the drive in. Excellent shopping / anmenities in town too. Overall, a very pleasant place for us to stay while visiting family locally. Will use again!"

"We had a suite overlooking the sea which was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of milk to have with your tea/coffee. We would definitely stay there again. Only negative was not having a safe."

"Amazing room, or rather room! Very nicely done. It was kind of hard to find the car park, but I managed. Like the blurb says though, lots of steps to the hotel so be careful"

"An excellent stay at the Rose and Crown. Super convenient in the centre of town with a public car park about 100yards away. The room was great, very clean and well furnished. Shower was good and facilities in the room fine"

"Period property with unusual layout. Excellent cooked breakfast plus dinner menu. Plenty of parking on site. Very helpful Landlady. Wifi didn't during our stay but apparently a network engineer is booked to redo the whole set up."

"Place felt like home, extremely welcoming. Old place, but well maintained, the strength is in the people there, I would go there again no questions asked, one of my best stays in memory, top notch!!"
