"Room on 30th floor was amazing, view was breathtaking. Plenty of space to get comfortable and have an enjoyable honeymoon. Area was practical and easy to access food, transportation, and local sites. Executive lounge was nicely stocked (whisky, gin, vodka, beer, wine, plenty of sodas, and some snacks) and quiet. Dining was fantastic."

"Excellent hotel with good rooms in a nice area. Blackout blinds worked wonderfully. 5 minute walk from the subway. Laundry machines on each floor was a nice amenity to use."
Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo

"Hotel is close to shops and dining options. Although the hotel is located just opposite Kyoto station, walking to and from the gates or terminal still took us 8-10 mins- definitely something to consider especially if travelling with older person. The entrance to the shops connected to Kyoto station is just opposite the hotel, so about 1-2min walk only. As per hotel room, the space is enough for 3 pax, bed was not bad but the pillows were not the most comfortable. Check in and check out using machine so less interaction from staff but staff helpful when asked. I would probably try the other Miyako accommodation next time which I noticed is closer to the terminal/gates."

"Overall it was a very good hotel, very nice, good location, rooms were well maintained, breakfast was excellent. The only problem we had was the bathroom. The wet room and tub allowed nowhere to leave anything hanging dry. So you needed to place your change outside where there’s no door for privacy when you step outside. Then there’s very little hooks to place towels or clothes. May be minor to some people, problematic to others."
