"We enjoyed the breakfast. The view was good as well,however, the amenities are old overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"The art inside the hotel was absolutely stunning! Front desk was very friendly. The hotel itself was confusing… there’s a paper that lists everything the hotel offers but finding said amenity on different floors seemed near impossible… Even the staff was unsure when asked where certain things were. Ultimately ended up giving up trying to play “where’s Waldo” and opted to stay in the room. Was only there for one night but would have loved to explore more. Secondly, free parking should be included with the price of the stay. It costs enough to surely be able to cover parking a vehicle in a lot for the duration of a stay. Lastly, this fancier hotel was built in the projects in downtown Dallas. It’s one street down from a huge homeless population. Kinda felt like a slap in the face and a bit of a reality check about how cruel life can be. An upscale establishment almost in the heart of a population who has nothing but the bag they carry on their back…"

"I only stayed to run the Irving marathon. I ordered steak frites with Parmesan truffle fries and was a little disappointed that it was overcooked, the steak wasn’t sliced, and the fries were regular fries with Parmesan dumped on them. Tasted ok but way over priced. Otherwise it was a good stay."

"The check in staff cannot be bothered. They were hanging out chatting while one employee helped a line full of people. When checking in they forgot to put our card in for incidentals as well as parking. This made parking a nightmare our first evening and next morning. They fixed it later after playing phone tag. They had had an attitude about it. The facilities are nice. The rooms are just okay, but any interactions with staff we had were condescending. The place is nice but their people make you regret speaking with them or bothering to ask a question. I won’t go back. This place also added a lot of fees that I thought Expedia did were included. I travel frequently and I’d skip this place. "

The hotel’s location is perfect — close to Dallas Love Field, great restaurants, and shopping, making it convenient for both business and leisure trips. I also loved the amenities: the fitness center was well-equipped, the pool area was inviting, and the on-site dining options were delicious. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless and enjoyable. Overall, this DoubleTree exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas — whether you’re traveling for work, leisure, or just need a cozy, welcoming place to stay, this hotel has it all!"
