The place is beautiful. I don’t like the fact that you have to pay for parking. I didn’t know this until I arrived. Also I booked a double bed and was told they didn’t have any available whe I arrived after the check in hour.

Breakfast was presented as it was included with our stay, we were told hours when we checked in, but no mention of it being an additional cost. There were no signs at the eating area. We only found out when someone came and laid a check at our table and walked away, after we had served ourselves. This was very unclear and a disappointment as the breakfast was a glorified continental breakfast not worth the cost. The facilities were much more run down than the photos represent. We also had standing water in our tub in the mornings with floating pieces of black mold. Would overall not recommend this hotel.

The staff at this property are just outstanding. From the front desk to housekeeping, and in particular Erica in the restaurant, the people who work at Doubletree DFW North make this my favorite place to stay in Dallas.

Hotel was nice. Bed was amazing… A couple of things though: because this was a stay due to my connecting flight being canceled, I was unable to have my toiletries, There were no complementary toiletries. Everything was for purchase only, very disappointing given the location of the hotel is mainly for airport travelers… Plus, restaurant did not have many things on the menu available along with running out of white wine at 7pm

Our room had a musty smell too it - sheets even felt damp. If it had been a “normal” stay I would have said something, but after the long travel day and the very late jour, I just wanted to sleep.
