"I picked this place due to it being a good distance from all the places I aimed to visit. Just over an hour to Skye, Mallaig etc and less to Fort William and Glencoe. I was aware that there's not many shops nearby but I was well prepared. The place is spacious for a 1 or 2 person stay but possibly a bit tight for 4. Great parking close to accommodation. There were a few faults that shouldn't take long to fix. Catching front door. Internal doors that don't all stay shut, kitchen cupboard...

"Pretty detatched cottage with all the comforts of home. Jeannete's fresh farm eggs on the table for us on our arrival. The cottage is set in quiet countryside, yet convenient for exploring the area. A week wasn't really long enough to do everything we wanted! Nice outdoor eating area in our secluded garden. Great for those sunny days when we were able to eat outdoors. "The Bakehouse was as described and it was spotless and well equipment with lovely attention to detail. Newtonmore is an ideal location for exploring the highlands. The village has all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay. The local hotels do not allow dogs in side but we were able to have drinks outside and we had a lovely meal at the Glen Hotel (outside with the dog). "The Cottage and location far exceeded our expectations. Our time at Brachkashie was just perfect for what our family wanted from our holiday. A mixture of relaxation, long walks and messing about on the loch. "Very clean, comfortable and well equipped property in a great location to explore the areas north of Fort William. Guests should be aware that the cottage is located adjacent to the Estate's hunting centre, with stags shot in the day brought back to the area around the property. Bear this in mind if it could be an issue. It also has possibly the smallest TV in existence – not great while there was a rugby world cup on!"
