"A wonderful little gem in the peaceful foothills of the Smokies. This was our first trip to GSM and we'll be back. Townsend is the perfect launching point to experience the wonder and beauty of the landscape. The cabin is well provisioned and thoughtfully laid out providing the perfect balance of rustic comfort and efficiency. A touch or wand light or two under the kitchen cabinets to improve the lighting for cooking and cleaning up would be a simple and helpful improvement. Otherwise this is a little slice of heaven on the Little River that enhanced our trip giving us a peaceful place for relaxing after our daily adventures."

"The cabin was perfect! I met up with a friend to hike area and we each took a room( beds are so comfortable), one has a jetted tub which was great after a day of hiking, ( the other shower/ tub combo) and of course a screened in porch on deck beside a hot tub! Privacy but right down the street from Cades Cove Trail Road….perfect location. Host provides a drip coffee maker and travel size soap, hair products so you will need to get coffee/ filters and xtra shampoo/ conditioner if you wash often. Host provides laundry pods for washer/ dryer which was nice. No dryer sheets. Parking on concrete driveway, no steep roads to it. Communication was excellent, check in easy and smooth. Shout out to Shannon. We would come back to this site again! Book it, you won’t regret it!"

"This was a perfect location if you wanted to play tourist in eastern Tennessee. From Tuckaleechee Caverns, Cades Cove or even a drive to Gatlinburg this offered a great middle ground. Close to trails, this hosts had helpful maps to navigate the area.The best surprise was the sleep sound machine in the bedroom! The back porch while not fully secluded gave a great comfort to wind down using the swinging bench, and opportunity to know fellow neighbors if open to that sort of thing.Very wonderful hosts that communicated often and well.Would book the cabin again."

"This place was perfect for our trip. It’s located close to everything the area has to offer. We didn’t have more than a 45 minute drive to get to anything. The place is simple, in a good way. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. The best part is the back deck over the mountain creek. It was very relaxing to sit out there and listen to the water. We spent most of our time at the cabin enjoying that. The hot tub on the deck was a nice bonus as well. The area is absolutely beautiful and there’s a grocery store and some restaurants 6 minutes away. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone who wanted to spend time around the Smoky Mountains national park area."
