"We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!"

Das Haus befindet sich etwas abgelegen vom Dorf Skene und liegt absolut ruhig. In der Unterkunft auf ist alles, was man benötigt vorhanden. Lediglich die "Kaffeemaschine" verspricht mehr, es ist eine einfache Nespressomaschine, die oft einige Geduld erfordert... Aber in Schottland sollte man ja Tee trinken. "Es war einfach nur Traumhaft!!!! Die Vermieter absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wer weg vom Stress will und eine erstklassige saubere Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig!!! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen:) P.S.: da es bei unserer gebuchten Cottage Probleme mit dem Wasser gab, haben wir einfach eine größere ohne Aufpreis bekommen ☺️"

"Beautiful quiet cottage to recharge and reflect. Very sad time for us due to bereavement but cottage helped to heal our souls. We all loved it even the dog. Mattresses were a bit hard for our backs and sofas a bit soft and low but would not deter us from coming back. Wood burner was excellent at keeping cottage cosy. 9/10"

"A good start for a recent refurbishment. No doubt seating for the sun room and outside furniture will be available in due course which will certainly enhance the property. Garden furniture would improve residents stay given the beautiful surroundings. Lack of storage upstairs and sufficient seating and crockery we feel is not adequate for 8 people. We felt it was a lovely property more suited to perhaps 6 people than 8. We had a lovely stay."

"The Gardeners cottage was great for our family. Very spacious, we were five and the cottage had so much room, more than we had expected. The grounds are really nice, with all kinds of little trails for exploring. James was a great host as well, clear communication in the days leading up to our visit and was also available during our stay. We really appreciated the down time at this beautiful location. "

The lady that helped us check in walked me to our room to ensure that I found it alright while my husband parked the car. Everyone was lovely and beyond kind. Very clean room, I didn’t want to leave.
