"Beautiful! I highly recommend this resort and the area to stay in ...a 10 minute drive to the busy Airlie beach town cntre. So quiet and so private and the villa was simply luxurious!!! Our villa was virtually on the board walk so the vista to the water was amazing. We could have stayed on our deck enjoying the accommodation for our entire stay! The private pool on our deck was very secluded but very cold water( as all the pools on th complex were...)Probaby ok mid summer but being september not really able to enjoy! The restaurant on site was fabulous...especially the breakfast! We ordered a take way for room service and it was lovely. A big thankyou all around to all the staff at Mirage Whitsundays. The greeting and extra teats we received were very special for our 65th birthdays and 40th wedding anniversary. .Fabulous stay and woud love to come back."

"Right in the middle of Airlie Beach town, this is great for local restaurants and bars., as well as the beach. We stayed in a cabin which was spacious and had a small veranda to sit on at night. It is NOT quiet at night though, with live music and partying until the early hours. It didn’t overly disturb us but something to consider."

"Car parking bit tight, and not near the rooms. if your a bit elderly I would imagine getting up the steep hill to the rooms may be a bit of a mission. All and all was a lovely stay and rooms were comfortable."

"qualia is one of the most beautiful properties we have visited. The setting, architecture, views, and atmosphere truly feel special and uniquely Australian. Our arrival experience was excellent. Noemi provided a warm airport pickup, smooth check-in, and a thoughtful overview of the property and room. The accommodations themselves were stunning. We also had an incredible “Best of Both Worlds” tour with Pedro, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The main challenge during the first 24 hours was inconsistency in service attentiveness. At times, particularly at the pool and during our first dinner at Long Pavilion, service felt less proactive than expected for a property at this level. Drink refills, reservation follow-up, and simple check-ins occasionally required prompting rather than feeling naturally anticipated. What truly elevated the experience was the response from leadership. Rebecca, the General Manager, was exceptional: thoughtful, responsive, attentive, and genuinely interested in feedback. Her professionalism and accountability significantly improved the remainder of our stay. Beach Club dinner was another standout, with warm staff, relaxed pacing, and beautifully prepared food and cocktails. Overall, qualia delivers an extraordinary setting and many memorable moments.
