"he house was really nice, with a great pool, views, and surroundings. Our complaint was that we felt the house was not represented correctly. It worked out for us since we were all adults, but I’m not sure it would suit a family. It is listed as a four-bedroom house, but in fact, it is a two-bedroom house with a detached building that has a further two bedrooms and a bathroom included. There are 19 large outdoor steps down to these rooms, and unfortunately, it was raining most nights, so we got quite wet going to bed. These two downstairs bedrooms are actually one room separated by two steps up and no door, so they are not really two rooms and lack privacy. The back bedroom is quite pokey and claustrophobic. The standard of this downstairs space is not in keeping with the house itself.There was only one hairdryer provided for three bathrooms, the mugs and glasses didn’t match, and there could have been more crockery and cutlery provided. When paying this much for a property, this feels a bit cheap.There are also safety concerns if you had children with you, the porch around the pool is quite tall with no barrier and a drop straight onto concrete below. I don’t know if it is council compliant but it’s a long way to fall on concrete. Overall, while we appreciated the charm of the house and the stunning views, clearer communication about the property’s layout and improvements in safety and amenities would greatly enhance the experience for future guests."

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The pool is large and perfect for a family, with a great BBQ and seating area. The view from the upstairs windows is stunning and it would be great if the overgrown plants were cut back so you could have this view from the pool.The kitchen is large and has everything you need. There were just a few little things that could be improved, like a wardrobe or chest of drawers for clothes in the upstairs bedroom and the shower screens and windows haven’t been cleaned in a while. Overall, we had a good time away and will definitely visit Airlie Beach again."

"We loved staying at Bay Bliss apartments the pool and the view were beautiful and a highlight. We didn’t realise how far out of Airlie we would be but luckily the bus was great and cost effective during the day. The only thing that could have made the stay nicer was for the day beds around the pool to have a cushion as they were not a comfortable place to relax. "

"Beautiful spot, accommodation good. Felt a little unwelcome because even the handwashing and detergents had Baybliss written all over them, as if we might steal them. Never had this anywhere we have stayed before. Having said that, owners were lovely and it is a beautiful place to stay."
