"My wife and I had a one night stay. We had arrived earlier than expected but our room was ready for us. On the following morning we enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast with spectacular views of the bay. All in all a very special treat for us."

"Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again."

"Clean, well appointed cottage. Bathrooms are looking tired and probably should be replaced . The first time we used the en-suite shower, water poured through the lounge ceiling. We called the number given and a man came round , tested the shower and claimed it didn’t leak. We just had to use the other shower after this "

"The property was lovely, hot tub, enclosed garden, fully stocked kitchen so we could cook. There was also the beach, shops and pub in walking distance! "

"We had a lovely stay despite a rocky start due to the cleanliness of the beds - we spent the first couple of hours in Tesco, buying new mattress protectors, bedlinen, duvets and the contents of the non existent welcome hamper! The living space and kitchen were great but the rest of the property could do with some updating and a little bit of TLC. Little things like a new kettle, toaster and a washing machine that didn’t sound like it was about to explode would be a good start!! The view was perfect and the access to Polzeath was fab. "

"Great property and location. Was perfect location for a relaxing holiday with my family. Local amenities were very good and loved the fact we could hop on the ferry to Padstow from just down the road."

"The house is great and beautifully designed. The location, to enjoy the best of Polzeath, is fantastic. If I had one criticism it would be the garden. Compared the the rest of the house it is just a bit scruffy (both the garden and the balcony). We couldn’t use the garden very much as the weather wasn’t great but if I was there in the summer I think I’d expect the outside area to be a little tidier - especially if I had younger kids who wanted to play downstairs or eat on the balcony. But genuinely - the house is lovely! "
