"Overall it was a very solid place to stay. Comfy beds, clean rooms and clearly they made a real effort to make the best of their hotel. Even though the hotel is on a busy street that doesn’t appear to be in a tight knit neighborhood, it’s actually really close to a lot of cool hip restaurants and central to many destinations. The hot tub is cute but needs some love. The air conditioning unit, which I could manually turn on and off, would cool the room in cycles which didn’t really work well...

"Location was great for walking to the nearby brewpubs and shops, easy access to walking trail. However, our room was facing Mission St and it was super noisy from cars driving by throughout the night and morning. They didn't have any rooms on the first floor so only floor was second floor. There were stairs to get out and let you out on the street, which was convenient with dogs, but door doesn't open from the outside so always had to go inside to get to room. All in all, it was fine, convenient...

"our stay was superior..well located to beaches....and harbor, room was large and high ceilings,,(second floor room) large and high end tv (even my wife was impressed..had a bit of a problem getting the wifi going(my fault) after contacting the management issue was cleared up immediately! ie. the password...would definitely stay at this property again if in Santa Cruz....tx so much pc"

"One of the nicer hotels to stay in Santa Cruz. Loved the vibe, decor, and how kid/dog friendly this property is. The rooms are a little bit worn and outdated and there were some updates that probably need to be made to the hotel itself. The pool and amenities were nice. VERY expensive parking, food, and drinks - although the room booking itself was reasonable. No outside food or drinks are allowed, so just note that you'll be spending a lot hanging out at the hotel."
