"Klein, maar daardoor heel grappige efficiënte oplossingen wat betreft inrichting. De proefjes mogen wel eens vervangen worden. Een beetje smoezelig."

"Quite the unusual place to stay…very unique. Comfortable bed…plan on climbing some stairs for bathroom and kitchen, but all in all quite comfortable. Restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at SWEETS van Hallbrug. The layout made great use of a small space and it was nice to look out on the canal. "

"This is a remotely operated aparthotel with an online reception and electronic key sent directly to your mobile phone. Located on a residential street on the edge of town, but still a short walk from the main town and the beach. Very high spec rooms and bathroom with loads of space. If you don't need the benefits of a full service hotel, this is a great option."

"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."

"The location is unique and special. However, the tram line running right next to it and the position of the bed on that side of the house make it noisy and shaky. The swinging chair in front of the bathroom is also impractical. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here alone as a female guest. You have to access the place through a dark back entrance and cannot physically lock the doors, which made me feel uneasy. I am sure other locations of the chain are nicer though."

"The apartment/hotel room was great. Sitting right on the canal. A couple minute walk from the closest tram station. Everything you need was a couple minutes away."

"We loved staying at this unique place! Awesome views and lots of activity around. Restaurants, Grocery Stores and Tram very close. This will be a place you will always remember. The early luggage storage hotel clerks were very friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely love to stay at Sweets again. "

"Very unique location very close to vondelpark in Amsterdam! "

"When I arrived the heating wasn't on and probably hadn't been for a while. I put it on and cranked it up, but the room didn't get warm enough through the whole night and the sheets were damp and horrible. I had to lie with all my clothes on. It still wasn't warm enough the next day. I had booked for three nights, but left after one. This was in November, it's probably nicer in the summer. "

"Absolutely wonderful small house in a charming local area on the verge of the city center. Close to the Maritime Museum and oozing history. "

"If you are looking for a very unique hotel to stay in that is located near so many things, stay here! "

"I’ve never stayed at a place like this before! "
