The Bunkhouse at Woodland Escape, paradise meets the countryside. Texas style private cabin located on a scenic 5 acres in Wise County TX. Just minutes away from LBJ Grasslands, Black Creek Lake & historic down town Decatur. Also, just a short 45 minute drive to Winstar Casino, the Stockyards in down town Ft Worth and Texas Motor Speedway. Close enough to enjoy the DFW area but far enough that you can still enjoy the peace and quiet that the Texas countryside offers.
Property features a fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub & outdoor kitchen w/gas grill & pizza oven for use in the common area.
There are 2 rental houses that share the outdoor areas including the swimming pool. The hot tub is available for private use by 1 hr reservation. Swimming pool is open for all guests to use at anytime. To view information on the additional house rental please search the Guesthouse at Woodland Escape.
The Bunkhouse is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Decorated in a cozy farmhouse theme with games and crafts for families and couples.
We are pet friendly, $10 per pet per night. Enjoy nature, stargaze in the hammock, roast smores by the fire or cool off in the pool! Unplug, relax & recharge! Complimentary farm fresh eggs provided for every stay.

Great Experience!

I visited with my sister and best friend from growing up. We had a great time! The living area was comfortable for relaxing and had a great tv. The rooms were all very clean including the kitchen and bathroom. The country decor was all very cute! We also enjoyed relaxing at the pool! It was beautiful- very clean. Kristen quickly responded to any questions we had. We will definitely visit again!
