Loved our stay here! It was in a great location for hitting some fishing spots along the creek and very clean! Bed and furnishings were comfortable and kitchen stocked with what you need :) Hot tub was immaculate and communication was great. Not too far from Boone for day trip, but you're down the mountain and it felt like you were away from everything in the best way!

The cabin was nice and clean and everything you needed was available. The gas grill did not work, so we couldn't do our outside dinner. The area around was amazing. We enjoyed our walks on the trails with our Dog and our shopping in Boone.Cabin would need some improvements, like new matress and a covered front porch and Deck, so you could enjoy sitting outside, even if it's raining. We did not use the Hot Tub because of all the fallen leaves in the gutters.Other than that it was a relaxed and wonderful vacation.

We loved the cute cozy cabin and the hot tub was amazing. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the water in the river was so relaxing! We fished but only caught 2 so that was disappointing. Didn’t like how close to the road it was. The manager helped me anytime I had a question. Loved our time all around!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is charming and had all amenities we needed for a relaxing few days in the mountains. It is a beautiful scenic drive to get to the nearby towns. We especially enjoyed visiting Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. The creek was lovely.

The host was amazing! cabin was amazing very secluded cabin came with all necessities! The only suggestion that I have is to put up lattice, where the Jacuzzi is to make it more private from the neighbors across the elk Creek!

We voted it the best out of all the cabins we’ve rented! Very charming, cozy with everything you expect in a real log cabin. Loved listening to the creek and seeing all the stars from the hot tub at night ! It was perfect to spend husband’s 65th birthday! THANKYOU for fulfilling our wishes!

Clean, cozy, pretty much perfect. Super peaceful and very private. 30ish min drive from Boone and West Jefferson. Had a very restful and relaxing stay at the cabin, and you can’t beat the price for what you get. Just be careful if you’re not familiar w Deep Gap backroads because they’re pretty gnarly if you don’t have an SUV :).
