"Do NOT rent this property. After confirming everything in advance, we arrived in Istanbul only to be told the apartment wasn’t ready. The host delayed sharing the unit number and code until we landed, then pushed us into a cheaper temporary unit with four flights of stairs—terrible for my 84-year-old father. They promised reimbursement for two nights but never paid. Communication was slow, we lost a full day moving, and Vrbo/Expedia support was useless. Avoid this place."

"The location for this hotel is absolutely terrific. You are a 10-12 minute walk from the galata tower, not very hilly may I add. About a 5 minute walk from tophane tram station and lots of food options nearby. Loved the vitamin bar (fresh juice) especially. Please be aware that if you are planning on going towards taxim, the roads are super hilly. If you are someone that is not used to a lot of incline, you will struggle. "I stayed in this hotel with my husband from 10th Nov to 14th Nov. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a room with view of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque with a balcony. The location of this hotel is excellent. It's very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and there are lots of dining options around. it's also very close to the tram line as well making it easy to explore other areas. The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was excellent - especially the bed. It was very big. The staff were also very nice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. "
