The hotel room was disguising we didn’t even spend the night there we walked in and there was bugs and roaches everywhere in the air conditioning which was broken by the way which made the room freezing they were all over the floor in the bathroom crawling on the headboard and even when we opened the microwave they came crawling out. When I asked if they could maybe find me a cleaner room in the hotel or what they could do the front desk lady was very lazy and rude and just said she could give me a refund in 3-5 business days

The staff was excellent, super friendly and very helpful. The main issues were the condition of the room and halls. There were bugs in our room missing g drawer fronts carpet was very worn and parts missing in places. I do want to say again that the staff was great. They were doing their best with what was there

The room was great. Kitchen, full fridge, big bathroom and a large desk. Very clean. Great staff. Quiet. The only problems I had was the elevator being broken, so climbing 3 flights of stairs with a bad knee replacement and a dog who has arthritis was a bit rough. Also, I unfortunately saw a cockroach in a cabinet... not freaked out as im sure with so many people bringing in God knows what, its hard to control. It wasn't infested and the room and hotel was very clean and affordable.

There were cockroaches everywhere, the drawers were falling apart, the toilet seat looked like it had been used before it was even put in and melted in places, The manager checked me in and never said anything about the infestation of cockroaches, I talked to other gas and every room had cockroaches in it. There should be no food or anybody staying there until the infestation is clear.

We stayed at MainStay Suites Denver Tech Center from summer 2026. From night one we faced a severe German cockroach infestation. We regularly killed 40–50 cockroaches a day. They were in the cabinets, silverware, walls, ceilings, bathroom, toilet paper, tissue boxes, and next to our faces in bed. We also saw live and dead rats near the dumpster and parking lot. When moved to a second room it was still heavily infested and reeked of dog urine (visible carpet stains). The smell made my pregnant wife repeatedly ill. Staff and management were told about her pregnancy and the health risks from the beginning. We reported the problem to the front desk over 10 times. Every time we were promised traps, maintenance, or an exterminator. Nothing was ever done. We escalated to Choice Hotels corporate, requested relocation to a clean sister property, and later asked for a refund. The only offer was a two-night credit at the same hotel. They refused to refund anything. We filed formal complaints with associated departments. We also appeared on Tom Martino’s Troubleshooter. Despite all of this, no refund was provided. No one should live with cockroaches in their food, bedding, and personal items for months while being told “pest control is coming.” The conditions were a clear health failure, especially for a pregnant guest. We never got a single decent night of sleep.

The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay, especially during check-in and when we reported the issues we encountered. Unfortunately, the property itself had a serious pest problem. The first room we were assigned had numerous cockroaches crawling on the floors and walls, becoming even more active when the lights were turned on. We immediately notified the front desk, and they apologized and moved us to another room. Sadly, the second room had the same issue. We also found evidence of bed bugs, making us uncomfortable staying at the property. After notifying the staff again, they were understanding, apologized, and processed a full refund without issue. While I appreciate how courteously the staff handled the situation, the condition of the rooms made the hotel uninhabitable for us, and we chose to stay elsewhere.

“The room was dirty on arrival and the bathtub was clogged basic upkeep that shouldn’t have been missed. Even more concerning: this is supposedly a non-smoking hotel, but the smell of smoke hits you throughout the entire building. Either housekeeping isn’t checking rooms between guests, or the no-smoking policy isn’t enforced at all. Would not recommend

The coffee pot was mussing, the drinking glasses were dirty so i was going to wash them however the racks to the dishwasher were missing. They finally found a bottom rack so i could not use it and not sure it worked anyway. I asked the desk for dish soap but they don’t stock it.

The elevator was out of order and we were put in rooms on the second floor. We were traveling with another couple and they had a roach in their room. There was also a pool of vomit in the hall outside the other couple’s room. We would not recommend anyone to stay there.

After I booked I read the reviews. Many of the reviews claimed it was roach infested. I thought to myself....certainly they would address the problems and have everything corrected before my arrival. When we got to our room we were greeted by 4 roaches. There were two running around on the kitchen floor, one on the wall and one on the toilet seat. So sad. We walked out and went and found another hotel.
