Beautiful, cozy condo 1 block away from charming downtown Golden, CO, Colorado School of Mines, hiking, history park, breweries, restaurants, coffee roaster and more. It's a quick drive to the mountains for world class skiing and hiking. All furnishings are new and has all the amenities you might need.
Ideal for 2 guests. Smoke free/pet free.

The space
The condo is located in downtown Golden, in an historic building once built as a hotel for the Colorado School of Mines in 1909. It was completely gutted and beautifully remodeled in 2005 with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and stainless appliances. The space is very quiet and cozy.

Other things to note
Condo is within walking distance of multiple events in Golden. If beer is your drink of choice, Golden City Brewery (the second largest brewery is Golden) is located less then a block away but make sure you get there before they close at 7pm. The condo is located in the foothills so it's a quick drive into the mountains on I-70, easy drive to downtown Denver or Boulder. It is a perfect oasis to access all the area's activities. No smoking on premises or pets allowed.

Climate control- The location of the condo lends itself to being cool in the summer. I also recommend guests tip the blinds and close the windows during a hot day and then after the day cools, open the windows and blinds. The ceiling fans along with the window AC unit are also a huge help to keep the condo comfortable.

Right in downtown Golden, you can walk to many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful overnight Stay

We had a very quick stay and the location was excellent, the property was clean and as described. The host was very responsive- my mother in law forgot her kindle at the house and it was mailed to our home within 3 days of our stay.

Would absolutely rent here again!

This was a perfect place for my mom and I to stay when we came into town for a concert at Red Rocks. Very close to the venue and close to many other destinations too. Clean, quiet, comfortable, well-equipped and nicely priced. Downtown Golden is charming and so is nearby Morrison. I would stay here again in a heart-beat!

Golden Time!

Perfect location in Golden

Park the car and walk to nearly everything in Golden even hiking trails. Space in this full bedroom condo is thoughtfully laid out with everything needed like plugs and lights on both sides of the bed to a kitchen supplied with the essentials but with all the restaurants a short walk away why cook. This was our second stay and won’t be our last!

Perfect location!

My husband and I fell in love with Golden! This condo was in a perfect location! We were able to drive and sightsee during the day and then park and walk for dinner and drinks at night! We felt safe and everyone in the area was so nice and friendly! Coors factory is within view and walking distance. Betsy was so easy to work with and very accommodating! She responded quickly to all of questions and requests. Thank you for helping to make our trip to Golden and Denver wonderful!!!

Convenient & Quiet Stay

The unit was accurately depicted in description and photos. Great to have a washer/dryer and all the appliances worked fine. Nice eastern morning light and convenient, safe parking nearby. Truly a very walkable location! We would definitely stay there again when visiting our son and DIL. Apartment could use a few basic kitchen items (we don’t eat out every meal), the up/down shades are in need of replacement- all easy fixes.

Get away

I stayed here 3 nights before staying with family. It was a great getaway as it was just me so I had more than enough room. Comfy to watch tv. Fully stocked kitchen. No stairs for bad knee. Only a block for shopping as entertainment. Host left a list of restaurants all within a half a block to block and all delicious. Would definitely use this location again. So very convenient. Betsy was terrific and let me in early. She responded to the few questions I had within minutes.

Great location in Golden!

Betsy's one bedroom suite is perfect for a couple who wants to explore Golden. She provides everything you might need for your stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and around town. Betsy was an excellent host and gave excellent suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Golden and can't wait it come back!
