"I stayed at Crystal Cove in July 2026. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious. I understand the property was recently renovated. Staff went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of and were extremely helpful. From the dining room staff, to the bar staff, to the front desk...interacting with the hotel staff was a pleasure. The bars were very accessible and there was virtually no wait to get drinks. There were three pools to choose from and as many have noted, the swim up cave bar is a defining feature of the property. The beach is easily accessed, and the waters were calm and inviting. The hotel with its colorful buildings and the backdrop of the ocean made for the perfect scenic Caribbean experience from morning to sunset. The two elements of my experience where I would have liked to see more are in the categories of food and entertainment. Food was well-prepared and tasty in general. However, part of my expectations in travelling to Barbados was to be exposed to and enjoy Bajan food. I was forced to leave the hotel to find many notable Bajan dishes. There was no flying fish. On the night we were to have black pudding and souse, there was no black pudding. We had Bajan bakes only one breakfast during our nine day stay. If any hotel managers read this, Add More Bajan Food so people can enjoy the food culture in addition to the beauty of the resort. The other issue is the hotel nighttime entertainment was minimal. There were singers some nights, but nothing extravagant."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Anniversary in Barbados! This was our first trip to Barbados, and we chose Waves Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What an incredible experience from beginning to end! We absolutely fell in love with Barbados — such a beautiful island with the warmest people — and Waves made our anniversary trip even more special. Our room was beautiful, with the most stunning ocean view. Waking up to that view every morning was everything! The property itself is gorgeous, the beach is beautiful, and there’s such a relaxing, intimate feel to the resort. We truly had a fantastic time. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming and willing to go above and beyond. The hospitality never felt forced — we felt cared for throughout our entire stay. very special thank u to Tamisha Forde, the Front Desk Manager for helping set the tone for such wonderful service, as well as Alexis and Zoe at the front desk, who were always so kind and helpful. Antoine and Kevin from Activities were fantastic and added so much fun and personality to our stay. Latoya and Sarafina at the bar kept the good vibes (and drinks!) flowing, Jennifer, our lovely hostess, always greeted us so warmly, and Devon, our bell hop, was wonderful and so helpful. It’s the people who can truly make a beautiful property unforgettable, and the team at Waves did exactly that. We came to Barbados to celebrate our anniversary and left with beautiful memories,"
