This property is perfect for families to relax or play till they just can’t play anymore. There are deer that visit daily! The deer visit all day long and are fun to watch.

About Your Host-
I love to make people happy and that exactly what my properties are designed for. I'm a landlord by trade. I have apartment complexes and rental homes. Then six years ago I created my first vacation rental property, and it grew from there. I offer vacation rentals because it's fun! Making sure groups are set up to have a blast is a challenge that I find very rewarding. I take this seriously. Being a big kid at heart, I make it my mission to deliver the fun for kids- also being one who appreciates nice things, I deliver comfort and attention to detail for the adults. I truly desire for you to have the most fun and relaxation as possible, and with the fewest hassles as well. That is why we put in so much effort before you get there. Fantastic location, gorgeous property, excellent host.

Bedrooms, bathrooms, and living space were perfect for a large family get together. House is stocked with little extras to help make your stay perfect. The hot tub was not working and the sink in the party barn was out of order, but otherwise fantastic!

Great Home and Property for a Family Retreat

Had all the things we were looking for to treat out-of-town family to a nice getaway. Mornings with coffee and a fire in the fireplace and the open space for the kitchen, dining and living/family room made for good times. Didn't use the party barn much but did play a game of pool, darts and a video game.

Excellent Spot for a Big Group

Everyone was super impressed with the house and amenities. I would love to come back and play some more big buck hunter. The property was huge and secluded. I would definitely come back for another visit! The only hiccup was that our Uber drivers couldn’t find the driveway, so make sure you give them good instructions. I would highly recommend the property.

Awesome stay in West Des Moines!

Graceland was absolutely a beautiful property and wonderful experience for our group. The property is in an awesome, suburbian area of West Des Moines, but it seems like it is out in the country like a farm house. We were 2 minutes from everything we needed from activities to gas to restaurants. We had ample space in the house. The game room was awesome. The owner was easy to work with and very detailed. We will definitely consider staying again when visiting the Des Moines area.

Large property

Very large property so lots to see and do. Only down side is bathroom is on opposite side of house. You have to walk all the way thru the house if you are in game barn to go to bathroom. Also we showed up in a snow storm and it was so wet and muddy. So when everyone was in the barn having fun it was quite a big deal to walk all the way down take mens boots off to walk thur hous.

Mini Family Reunion

Hello, We had 10 families that traveled to West Des Moines from the Chicagoland area for a mini family union for another family member that lives in town. We all stayed at different places including a mix of VRBOs and hotels. My cousin hosted us all at his house for the reunion, but we definitely could have hosted it on this property, as well! My family was in the Graceland house for 3 nights. We had a great time overall, but would recommend an improvement that would make this place even better. Add a bathroom to the party barn AND basement (with shower). We ended up renting a port-a-john for just outside of the barn for convenience. When we were at the house, the majority of our time was spent in the barn. My parents are older and it was too far for them to get to the bathroom, especially in the dark. The nearest bathroom in the house is on the opposite side of where the barn is. We would definitely recommend to others and stay again.

Wonderful property in a convenient location

It was the perfect place for our family to be together to celebrate and play games in a homey place rather than hotel rooms. The property would have received 5 stars, but the master shower water never got hot, only warmish even after running it for a long time. I was also disappointed that the master bed has two twin mattresses joined, leaving an uncomfortable crack between your partner. I would recommend a foam T wedge being added or a regular king mattress to fix this problem. Otherwise, we loved the property.

Staff Appreciation Outing

The property was just as described. Perfect place for our staff of over 20 ladies to hang out and reconnect outside the busy office environment. A few of us enjoyed the hot tub and the younger girls really enjoyed the shed! Thank you!!

Holiday family get togethet

This home was the perfect location to bring our families together under one roof to celebrate the holidays. Plenty of space for everyone. The Christmas decorations were an unexpected touch. The kids especially enjoyed all of the games and the hot tub. Owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Would definitely stay again!!

Graceland was Great!

This property lived up to its VRBO listing and reviews. It is clean,spacious, well-appointed, and well-stocked with everything from coffee to toothpaste. We had no problems at all. The party barn was perfect for a day after our son's wedding get-together. SO much fun! We would definitely rent again!

Perfect stay for a big birthday party!

We had relatives and some close friends stay with us at the house. The house had a big kitchen equipped with essentials and had 4 bathrooms and 9 beds and room for blow up beds if needed. The barn was great to have the party since there was a refrigerator, pool table, ping pong, stereo system, tv etc I will stay again when we have another celebration.to have

Wedding reception

We had a very small and intimate wedding at Jester Park, and reserved this property for our reception. It was perfect! The party barn was very spacious and had more than enough room for our events. And the house was beautiful and had so much space! And that double headed shower was amazing!! Would definitely recommend.

Lots of Room in BarnQ

We had a good stay and nice time relaxing and watching the football game in the Barn. There is a ton of room in the barn, we had a BBQ outside on the patio 1 night and it worked really well The basement has no bathrooms and low sealings for those who will use the 5 beds down there. Thanks

Great house!

We had 16 men for our golf trip and this house did not disappoint! Plenty of places to sleep, party barn was great, hot tub was needed after three rounds of golf. Only hiccup was WiFi is weak if big tv in living room and party barn are on at same time. We would come back! Thanks Steven!

Great place

Quite a nice surprise, this home feels like it is in the country and it is 5 minutes from everything. The layout is a bit strange, but it is well worth the price.
