"Brilliant! This is a truly modern and incredibly well conceived hotel, especially for business travelers. The rooms are tiny, but so well considered and designed it is hard to describe. You can control everything, especially the ingenious lighting, with an iPad or wall switches. The great beds are large and square, so you can sleep in any orientation. The bath fixtures are high end, and the rest of the hotel is outfitted with furniture and accessories from Vitra! If you value a good breakfast, the $20 buffet is better and less expensive than anything you're going to find within walking distance, and the room pricing is very competitive. I'll stay here every time I'm in Chicago now."

"Very upscale, but maintained property. It was clean, and the room was very comfortable with a nice view. I wouldn’t recommend for smaller kids as it has more of an adult only vibe but they were still really accommodating and friendly to me and my daughter. The bistro they have on the first level has really good food and an awesome Happy Hour. It was in a convenient location to both the subway and bus stops. I would stay here again! "

"One of the best place to stay in downtown Chicago. Most of the destinantions are quite close by to the hotel. The staff is also good and cooperative. My suite room was excellent."

We were so touched by their kindness and really made our stay truly amazing in every way. We eloped to Chicago and staying at the Royal Sonesta was the perfect place to stay. I would highly recommend especially since the rooms are much larger than other hotels."
