"Check in was fine after we found the information, lovely location, toilet was a challenge due to the tiny awkward room off the kitchen. No curtains in the bedroom. "

We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us.
The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

This is a fun hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. There are laundry and ATM options within a easy walking distance. The location of this hotel is ideal for those interested in WW2 history.

Fantastic, friendly staff who spoke excellent English. Everywhere was clean and inviting. For an included continental breakfast it was appetising and plentiful.

What an amazing place. Calm, quiet, and french air are the top things that come to mind. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious. I only wish we had time to walk by the river or try out the beautiful pool. We'll be coming back here soon.

Wonderful location in the Normand countryside near Mantilly. Lots to see nearby (castles, lakes, churches, typical construction, lots of green fields). Amazing breakfast. Great host. Thank you!
