"Nice friendly young lady on the check in desk. Restaurant wasn’t open but there is a huge shopping complex with restaurants/bars/takeaway next door. We stayed with our two small dogs which they allowed this time but was told they usually only accept one small dog (10 kg) so unfortunately we can’t go back. Thanks anyway for this stay. "

"This was the worst place we have stayed in 7 weeks of travelling. Tiny room. Double bed against the wall. Bedhead freestanding & moves every time you roll over. Tiny bathroom. No room for cases. In house restaurant closed the 3 nights we stayed. Had to travel 10 kms to find an evening meal. Advertises that it’s 25kms from Bilbao, when it was more like 35km. Extremely noisy from any activity in the passage. Cleaning staff rolling their trolley up & down the passage from a very early hour. Best...

"Second stay here on our journey back to UK from Portugal. Great place, clean, comfortable and the owner is a gentleman. Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. "We had a great stay, with friendly and helpful hosts in this wonderful old casa surrounded by vineyards and gorgeous mountains. Our room was comfortable and there was a terrific sitting room with a view to the grape vines and vast open countryside. "We really enjoyed our one night stay at this castle like hotel. The hotel owner was wonderful. After checkin he directed us to climb the hotel tour.
