"We enjoy our stay so much. The service , the food, the view. Love this place."

"This property is absolutely beautiful. It is just as I remember it 35 years ago. The museum was fascinating, showing what a wonderful restoration was done while strengthening the building. I am so glad I returned."

"The staff was very nice and helpful and the place was beautiful. Would recommend buying mosquito repellent in advance as the outside was swarming"

"Clean rooms and HOT private bath"

"We booked the ryokan with private onsen. It was worth every penny. We got the dinner and Japanese breakfast and was an amazing experience. The give you a yukata slippers and even socks to use. In from of the beautiful building is a garden. Also behind the museum in the corner a beautiful Japanese authentic restaurant, it was just beautiful. It was easy to catch the buses once we figured out which one to take. The outdoor private onsen has the shower next to it and it is also outdoors. The...

"The onsens and meals were very nice. It was an excellent experience of staying in a traditional ryokan. A bit of a hike if you walk up the to the ryokan from the train station and taxis are practically not present, luckily you can leave your luggage at the ryokan before check in and go explore the town"

"The property was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. However, it was overpriced for what it offered. The only amenity was the onsen bath, which had separate facilities for men and women, so we couldn’t enjoy it together as a family. Overall, the experience did not justify the high price, and we felt we didn’t get good value for the money."

"Crowded and very loud"

"Located near Gora Station, this is an *onsen* hotel where one might expect a wonderful *ryokan* experience from start to finish. In terms of the *onsen* facilities, I would consider it good; there are several thermal pools at different temperatures, showers for washing before and after bathing, and amenities such as towels and *yukatas* (Japanese robes) are provided. Regarding the food, although there are several set-menu options, we were simply given whatever was left, and there was no choice...

"Amazing hospitality. Extreme relaxation. Beautiful Loved it 10/10 !!!"
