Great Host at check-in/out. Spotless room and good parking.

It is a bit of a hike if you want to walk to town, but the accommodations were wonderful. Great view, and could hear waves lapping the lake at night. Very nice.

Really helpful owners on site, convenient location for what we wanted to see. Clean cute place. Not much in the way of restaurants around, 2 options with funky hours in the office season, but good food when open. VERY small town.

I had a room where 3 of the 5 walls were full windows to the walkway to all the rooms. This gave a lot of light and good views, but also meant anyone could see into the room, so I mostly just shut all the curtains the whole time. Parking was very good, and the room was very large. Shower in bathroom was set up as a jacuzzi-shower, so there wasn't walls keeping the water in the tub very well. Staff was friendly and provided amenities even upon late arrival

Cabin was great. We booked for six people, however, only got four towels other than the towel issue cool, everything else was good.

We had a nice stay. Very convenient. Clean room. Comfy bed, the most comfortable of our stay in NZ! Balcony room was updated. The smells was pretty bad outside so didn't use the balcony but i wanted a nicer room so it was worth it. The a/c would turn off in the middle of the evening on us. The entire hotel staff is so kind and helpful. Walkable to everything in town.

There was a clean and comfortable king-size bed, two sofa chairs, a table, an eating table, a kitchenette stocked with everything needed for two people to prepare meals, including a mini fridge, milk for coffee, a microwave, a hotplate, and a bathroom. Sure, things are a little dated, but the amenities, location, and price, you can’t go wrong! We were just looking for some place to shower, sh*t, sleep, and store our belongings while we went off to explore and experience adventures. It’s about a...

Fantastic place

Great room with a fantastic lake view. If you don't want stairs, ask for a 1st floor room. We were on the 2nd floor and it was beautiful, but we left our big suitcases in the car. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pans, etc and it is a full kitchen. Great location- also has a guest laundry and a grill area you can use.

Excellent location and excellent property. The lake is just across the street from the property. Town center with lot of variety of food options are just a 5-7 min drive from this property. We loved the private natural hot spring water bath in the room.
