We parked directly outside the hotel and had a lovely welcome from one of the managers who showed us our rooms ( in the annex) - our bags were brought up straight away. It was my birthday so they had upgraded us to a suite with a partial sea view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with hairdryers and Milton brown toiletries. "Lairds Lodge was an amazing find. We loved it from the moment we arrived. Number one were the Staff they were more than fantastic! Attentive, helpful, smiley and fun. The Lodge is beautifully appointed, we loved the decor and the little touches. The meals were fabulous, well prepared and fresh. Delicious! "Kerb appeal not great but once in compact grounds with garden, birds and small pool one feels secure in a pleasing environment. My deluxe room was spacious with large bathroom. Lots of nice decorating touches. Ingenious and well equipped kitchenette in an apparent cupboard. Good information folder. Adequate clothes storage. Host couple not intrusive but accessible, friendly and well informed."

"When we arrived the hosts did a great job of making us feel welcome. We were escorted to our room and the details of our room and the accommodation were given. The hosts were great, and so was the breakfast and room! We switched to Suite 5 at the last minute and our hosts put an extra bed in the suite for us with no complaints."
