"We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. I was unable to get info back on rental (address) could not get on my phone had I been able to get info earlier a couple of weeks prior to leaving for Mexico would of been great. I had a picture and a local found the rental was lucky. Always love YELAPA very special place. "

" The house is at the top of a hill. Clean and comfortable beds. There is an apartment above, so it is easy to hear movements and doors. On top of that is a deck with chairs and a table where you can watch whales. You also have a view over the beach. People are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants have great food. Located off the main beach, it is private and secluded but within a couple minutes of walking to get to the "main beach" and restaurants. It is accessible by boat, so you are really out of the main world and get the opportunity to check out of life and into vacation mode. We will definitely stay again.
