"We loved our stay at Hotel Laxnes. The staff were friendly and welcoming! There was space in the fridge for groceries, which was a plus since we stocked up for our trip to the South the next day. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a good rest—ready for our Iceland adventure. I truly recommend this hotel."

"Our stay was comfortable and was a good location for us. We are staying there again next week on the last night of our Icelandic stay. As well, the receptionist Blanca (?) was very helpful when we ran into difficulties booking ferry tickets. We are so very appreciative of her professional and efficient manner. "

"The grounds are amazing. We could see the horses from our bed. My kid loved the ladder to the upstairs. Place was pretty clean, the toilet brushes are a bit grungy, think they could swap those out but everything else was good. The views and scenery are really amazing though "

"The converted camper was as pictured and as described with a beautiful mountain backdrop. We especially appreciated the mini-fridge in the kitchenette. The central restroom facilities offered men's and women's sides with 2 bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls in each. Esjan was well located between Borgarnes and Reykjavik."
