"We loved this cozy place to stay. Matt and Eliza were genuinely friendly and attentive. The cottage is sweetly decorated and the small kitchen has everything you might need for an overnight. "The location was very remote and private yet close to stores if needed. The camp is rustic but it is very comfortable and very clean. We were visited every morning and evening by many deer who foraged in the front yard for apples. The host was very responsive and pleasant. This is a great place to get away from it all. "Thousands of mouse dropping by entrance. Have to step in to enter. Cabin smelled like mouse urine throughout. Large ants everywhere. Multiple screws loose and missing from stair case in cabin. Very unsafe. We left after one night short of our reservation. We only stayed 10 hours in the place and only because we were exhausted from traveling. Host refused to refund as he said I signed up for a “ cabin experience “. What a joke !!!!"

"The rental was clean and overall we were very pleased. However, the water smelled like rotten eggs which made it undesirable to take showers, washing, and water used for coffee and cooking. Also, it was not easy to contact the owner. We had to call Vrbo customer service line to get their contact info. We left a message on their voicemail but never actually got to speak to them."

"The place was perfect for us. It was only a half hour from Oneonta where my son played baseball for the week. It had everything we needed. We had a small request when we got there and the host immediately got back to us and fulfilled the request. We would stay there again!"
